Spearheaded a groundbreaking project in collaboration with AT&T, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of off-grid sites in California, USA. The project involved the development of a sophisticated Hybrid Application system tailored to meet the specific demands of the site.
With a 6KWDC Load, the system integrated a robust infrastructure comprising a 15kWp Solar PV array, complemented by a 60kVA Diesel Generator (DG) for backup power. The heart of the system lay in the deployment of 12 cutting-edge 3.55kWh, 48VDC modules, totalling an impressive 42.6kWh storage capacity.

One of the primary objectives of the project was to significantly reduce DG runtime, thereby minimizing operational costs and environmental impact. Through meticulous design and optimisation, Emtel Group achieved a remarkable reduction in DG runtime, slashing it from 6 hours to a mere 50 minutes. This achievement not only represented a substantial improvement in efficiency but also translated into tangible Opex savings for AT&T.

The Hybrid Application developed by Emtel Group stands as a testament to innovation and sustainability in the field of off-grid power solutions.
